Wizards District Gaming – the NBA 2K League affiliate of the Washington Wizards – was crowned 2020 NBA 2K League Champion after defeating Warriors Gaming Squad in Game 4 of the 2020 NBA 2K League Finals delivered by DoorDash. The team completed a 3-1 series victory and has become the first team to win the NBA 2K League Draft Lottery and NBA 2K League Finals in the same year. Wizards District Gaming defeated Kings Guard Gaming and previously undefeated Raptors Uprising GC in the first two rounds of the 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs delivered by DoorDash.
2020 MVP finalist and center Ryan “Dayfri” Conger was named Finals MVP after averaging a double-double with 14.3 points and 11.8 rebounds along with 4.8 assists throughout the series. In the series-clinching Game 4 victory, Conger grabbed 10 rebounds and dished nine assists while 2020 No. 1 overall pick John “JBM” Mascone netted 46 points, including 26 of the team’s 28 first half points.

The 2020 NBA 2K League Playoffs delivered by DoorDash tipped off Thursday, Aug. 20 and culminated with the best-of-five 2020 NBA 2K League Finals delivered by Doordash on Friday, Aug. 28. The Finals aired live on ESPN2, ESPN’s digital platforms, and the NBA 2K League’s Twitch and YouTube channels, and will air on delay in Southeast Asia on eGG Network and in India on Loco.
