Queens Of The Stone Age New Album Statement

Josh Homme has taken the time to produce for other artists while the band takes a short break. Josh has been side-by-side with a few artists as of late as he gets out of the way of the microphone and spreads his vision through other artists.

Enter Nikki Lane, who recently worked with Josh Homme on her newest work. Nikki is a country artist, and thinking about the work that Josh Homme can inspire with her really sounds like a great time. In fact, the Queens Of The Stone Age page opened up about the frontman’s work with Nikki.

The Queens Of The Stone Age band page would take to Instagram and state via Josh Homme’s words: “Making a record with Nikki Lane saved my life. Her songs about life, love, loss & just plain picking yourself up to go for another round in the ring… well, they helped me do the same. Tough & beautiful. Honest & ready to go Honky Tonkin. Nikki ain’t just a singer-songwriter; she’s an entrepreneur. An inspiration for girls, boys & badasses everywhere.”

Josh regards her very highly, as he could not say enough about her work. It’s easy to tell that Josh had a great time working on the upcoming album.

The post closed: “Nikki’s new record Denim & Diamonds is a Declaration of Independence, individuality & self-respect. I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to be part of it. Thanks, Nix @nikkilane77 – Denim & Diamonds
Produced by Joshua Homme Out Sept. 23rd. Link in bio.”

As of right now, we await the forthcoming album from Nikki, which Josh Homme produced, and it should be something extraordinary for everyone involved. We hope to check out the album soon and encourage you to do the same.
