Nola singer/songwriter/producer ShortyWorld is kicking off his Mardis Gras celebration by unleashing the visual to his most recent single, For You, which was later added to the countdown in his hometown. The song is a follow up to his 2016 banger, I Might featuring Kidd Kidd and Juvenile and the good folks over at Global Grind were kind enough to premiere this for us. It will appear on Shortys upcoming project, Rich, which Shorty describes thus.
"I wanted to make a timeless sounding project. I love being loved so I made this entire Rich project completely about love. Love is timeless, endless, and brings everything together.”
Sounds like one for the Valentines Day playlist folks.
ShortyWorld has an event filled week planned during Mardis Gras so if you are out there, be sure to look him up. Failing that, he has plans to storm the streets of the Big Apple the following week for a media run in support of the single.
