At this time Heavy is the only publication that has mentioned the possible trade request of Towns prior to this article.
The former number pick out of Kentucky has an all-around game. He possesses the ability to shoot the three, can score with his back to the basket and can pass the ball from the center position.
According to Clutchpoints:
The Timberwolves big man is posting career-highs in rebounding (12.5), assists (3.3), and steals per game (0.9) — all while remaining a force at both ends of the court and still growing into the superstar the franchise expects him to blossom into after doling out a hefty extension this past summer.
Last Summer, Brandon Robinson he’s the host of the Scoop B Radio Podcast, spoke to Towns’ mentor future Hall of Famer Kevin Garnett about the two-time All-Star, in which the crafty veteran “He’s the future,” Kevin Garnett told ScoopB.com.
Unfortunately, the Timberwolves were not able to improve this past season after barely making the playoffs the year before. The Wolves were beaten by the Houston Rockets 4-1 in round one of the 2018 playoffs. Towns averaged a double-double 15 points and 13 rebounds, but it wasn’t enough. We will have to see where this story may lead this summer.
