Power Book II: Ghost Melanie Liburd Reveals She Replaced The Original Professor Caridad ‘Carrie’ Milgram

On one of the recent episodes of The Crew Has it with Michael Rainey Jr and Gianni Paolo, their guest was Melanie Liburd. If you are familiar with Power Book II: Ghost, she played a character named Caridad ‘Carrie’ Milgram.
In the episode, it was revealed that Liburd replaced the original actress that was supposed to play Professor Caridad ‘Carrie’ Milgram.
” I have no idea from that call with Courtney that I was replacing someone. It was offered to me,” said Liburd.
“I know. Well, luckily maybe they needed someone quickly. Yeah, I think they sent Courtney some of my work and yeah I was like I’d love to be like an honor.”
According to Paolo, “There was someone else who was cast as Professor Milgram she did three episodes I don’t think I ever met her we were at table reads, but it was so overwhelming. I don’t remember who the actress was, but it was a conflict and then she got replaced and then here comes Melanie.”
Rainey Jr added, “I don’t remember.”
Power Book II Season three is slated to air sometime next year.
