Power Actress Alix ‘Effie Morales’ Lapri Was Reportedly Arrested In DeKalb County on Multiple Charges
Actress Alix Lapri, best known as Effie Morales from Power, was arrested in DeKalb County on charges of disorderly conduct and child cruelty.

Alix Lapri, who is well-known for her portrayal of Effie Morales in Starz’s Power and its sequel Power Book II: Ghost, was arrested in DeKalb County, Georgia last week.
Lapri, who has a legal name of Alexus Lapri Geier, was arrested on Monday evening and charged with disorderly conduct and cruelty to children in the third degree. She had a reservation just before 5 p.m. and was incarcerated for just over 24 hours before being released.
Authorities reported that Lapri had been charged with third-degree cruelty to children and disorderly conduct.
