YouTuber Movie Bot has cultivated a devoted following in the Power Universe fan community, and his recent analysis of Power Book IV: Force Season 3 may be his most compelling yet. Episode 6 signals a significant turning point. Movie Bot suggests fans should prepare for more than just shifting alliances—some recurring characters from the original Power series might return.
The CBI Triangle Finally Snaps
Movie Bot notes the series has steadily built toward a CBI fracture. After seasons of mistrust and bloodshed, Diamond and Jenard now stand united. Their father’s death reset their bond, reviving brotherhood and distancing them from Tommy. Shanti stirs the pot in her usual way. For two seasons, she’s urged Jenard to retake the top spot and boost her influence. But Movie Bot sees the twist: she’s losing leverage. As Jenard returns to Diamond, Shanti sees her status fall. Her only move is to destabilize Tommy and regain her position.
Tommy, once in charge of CBI, is now sidelined. Movie Bot says Tommy has slipped into “Ghost mode”—making significant decisions without involving those who helped him. This paves the way for his brothers to cut him loose.
Tommy vs. CBI: The Breakup Nobody Can Avoid
One thing Movie Bot does well is show that Tommy doesn’t just drift away from CBI—he’s pushed out. The trailer’s line, “I will burn that coalition to the ground before I let them take it from me,” makes this clear. Tommy doesn’t just leave; he cuts off any way back.
Maria tells him, “Don’t burn it down. Take it back.” This shows how much Tommy is struggling inside. At the same time, his world is falling apart: JP dies, Vic wants to go his own way, D-Mac becomes unstable, and Tommy loses the people he relies on.
This path fits with the “lone wolf” phase that the show has hinted at from the start.
After all this, Shanti becomes helpful to Tommy. She can’t be trusted, but she wants the same things he does. As Tommy deals with his losses, Shanti’s need for chaos helps her regain power. Tommy needs someone on his side who isn’t working against him. Movie Bot shows its alliance as a smart move, not a real partnership.
Episode 6: The OG Arrives
Earlier this year, Gary Lennon said he had brought back several original Power characters this season. He also hinted that one of their returns will be especially surprising.
Movie Bot points to Episode 6 as the most likely time for the character to appear, and fans are excited to see who it will be.
He starts by ruling out the obvious choices. Tariq probably won’t show up, since Force isn’t ready for such a big New York crossover. 2-Bit could return, but that wouldn’t be much of a surprise. So, Movie Bot suggests two other interesting possibilities:
1. The Italians. They were mentioned earlier this season for a reason. Tommy’s past with the Giordanos could resurface, pulling him into a whole new conflict.
2. A hallucination cameo. Movie Bot reminds viewers that Tariq saw Kanan during a crisis in Power Book II. Tommy is now under more pressure than he’s faced since Ghost’s death. A Kanan return—not alive, but in Tommy’s mind—would fit the emotional arc and qualify as a true “surprise OG.”
Tommy Needs Guidance—Even If It Comes From a Ghost
As the season concludes, Movie Bot notes that Tommy faces his biggest challenge yet: isolation—not the CBI, the coalition, or even the Chicago streets. For the first time since Ghost, Tommy lacks a mentor, counselor, or partner to run plays with. Episode 6 could redefine the season for this reason. If an OG steps in to guide him, it could shift the final episodes and set the stage for Power’s evolution. If Movie Bot is right, fans won’t just see alliances change—they’ll watch history return.
