NBA Great Jamal Crawford Reacts To LaMelo Ball & Miles Bridges Reenacting Lob Sequence, “He Is So Much Fun To Watch.”

Last week, after being snubbed by the NBA coaches, Charlotte Hornets’ second-year point guard, LaMelo Ball, was named a 2022 NBA All-Star reserved. The decision came from Commissioner Adam Silver, as he was named as Kevin Durant’s replacement due to injury.
Last week, three-time Sixth Man of The Year, Jamal Crawford, was on NBA Twitter Spaces with Jorge Sedano. During their chat, Crawford was asked if he caught LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges reenact Jamal Crawford and Blake Griffin highlighted dunk sequence.
“Yeah, I did see it, and that is amazing because afterwards, LaMelo came out and said he really watched growing up. And I heard about him when he was in eighth grade, so to see where he’s taken the game and how he’s improved. He’s so much fun to watch and it’s amazing he grew up watching me and my youngest son is watching him. That’s one of his favorite players,” said Crawford.
“So, to see that and see the effect you had on people, it’s weird because I know exactly what he means. It’s me and it’s hard to grasp that, but I know exactly what he means because I was that kid watching Nick Van Exel or Penny Hardaway and I knew exactly what that meant. So, we stay in touch and to see him do that and have the heart, and skill to do that. The presence of mind to do that…I love LaMelo and I’m glad he is a first time All-Star as well.”
When the original picks came out, and LaMelo Ball was not named to the All-Star game, former Chicago Bull and Charlotte Bobcats’ guard Ben Gordon were recently on Instagram Live with Champ and Mikey Jets.
If you think LaMelo [Ball] got robbed, who’s spot should LaMelo take if you think he got robbed? The panel would name James Harden or Khris Middleton.
The next day, former NBA player and North Carolina great Rashad McCants was on Instagram Live with Champ and Mikey Jets. The subject should LaMelo Ball think about skipping the Rising Stars game in Cleveland in protest of not being named an All-Star this season.
“This is why he should play when you don’t get picked for a team or any lineup. A coach puts you on B-team just because you pissed him off; you know what you do in the instance? You kill the first team to let the coach know don’t ever in your life put me on the B-team,” said McCants.
“So, he gotta play in the Rising Stars Game to show them to never put me in this category again.”
LeMalo Ball is averaging 19.6 points, 7.1 rebounds, 7.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game this season for the Charlotte Hornets
