Mindy Kaling’s Ex-Guest Star Discusses Their Time On ‘ The Mindy Project’

It has been six years since actor Sheldon Bailey made an appearance on The Mindy Project as Basketball Player #1. The episode was called ‘The Departed’ Bailey had the opportunity to work with actress and producer Mindy Kaling.
The tenth episode of season four was about Chris Messina’s character [Danny Castellano], who is Mindy’s fiance and has been out of town.
Mindy’s loneliness led her to join a supportive group under false pretenses. In the meantime, Morgan, and Colette discover Tamra’s secret pastime.
Bailey and Kaling had the opportunity to reunite on another project for the car company Hyundai.
The commercial also featured other familiar faces such as Jason Bateman, Becky G, Kawhi Leonard, and Giada De Laurentiis. It is also Hyundai’s biggest commercial to date.
Bailey recently shared what it was like working with Kaling on ‘The Mindy Project’.
“Working on her show was neat because I had been following her career and was proud to see an Indian woman star on her own show and see it survive two networks,” said Bailey.
“She’s a “boss” in the good sense and quite entertaining. I love everything about the process. Sometimes I wish it would “happen” quicker, but all this is a blessing.”
Kaling recently shared her Airbnb Wishlist according to People Magazine.
“I love luxury,” Kaling says, explaining that each stay on her list is a retreat from her everyday life. “My favorite places need to be nicer than my home.”
“Not to be too mystical, but my astrological sign is Cancer, which means I’m a homebody,” she says. “Homebodies love the comfort and intimacy of an actual home.”
