Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, is well-known for his tech innovations, but his future aspirations could involve a Michelin-starred meat restaurant. Zuckerberg’s candid conversation with Pubity revealed his love for farming and barbecuing, hinting at a surprising career change if he leaves the tech giant.

“I mean, yeah, I do the farming. I’ve been known to smoke some meats from time to time,” Zuckerberg shared with Pubity. “My joke with my kids is that if I’m ever done with Meta, I’m gonna create Mark’s Meats, and I do want it to be a Michelin star meat restaurant.”

Zuckerberg’s passion for quality food goes beyond the culinary experience and includes the farm. He elaborated on his aspiration to produce the world’s finest beef there is no official launch date

or solid planse beef that we produce in Kauai to be the highest quality beef in the world. I have this whole plan to do that,” he said.

However, Zuckerberg’s vision for Mark’s Meats goes beyond simply opening another restaurant. He aims to redefine the ranching and meat production standards by prioritizing quality over conventional industry constraints.

“We’re going to feed the cows better quality food than you can get at any commercial ranching operation, because everyone else is constrained—they can’t put more into the cows than they could sell it for at the end. I think, you know, start with that,” Zuckerberg added.

Even though there is no official launch date or solid plans, Zuckerberg’s remarks reveal his deep interest in farming and his desire to create something extraordinary outside of the tech industry. Zuckerberg’s meticulous plan for his culinary aspirations, which includes sustainable farming practices and a Michelin star-worthy dining experience, is a surprise given his data-driven approach to Meta’s innovations.

If Mark’s Meats ever becomes a reality, Zuckerberg will use the same dedication and disruption as he used to make Facebook and Meta household names. Zuckerberg’s multifaceted career is enriched by the prospect of mastering smoked meats and revolutionizing ranching, regardless of his future as a tech CEO.
