Mark Cuban Tweets Some Suggestions On How NBA Competition Committee Should Handle Side To Side Fouls

The Golden State Warriors were able to outlast the Houston as they won game one 104-100, but it did not come without a little bit of controversy. If you watched the game it seems like the Warriors were able to get away with not allowing Rockets shooters, James Harden, in particular, to land properly throughout the first game. Now, during any circumstance, this would be talked about, but it has been威而鋼
escalated because there weren’t any fouls called on Golden State defenders. Again, if you watch the game there were at least four plays were the Warriors didn’t allow Houston shooters not to land properly and there weren’t fouls called. I’m not saying that the Rockets would have made all of those free-throws to possibly send the game into overtime, but there is a possibility that the game was headed that way.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban was tuning into the game between the Warriors and Rockets and share some suggestion on how to solve some for foul issues in question via Twitter.

“It’s on the NBA competition committee to get rid of the side to side foul. The defender has every right to the space. Offensive players are smart enough to take advantage of this. It’s not on the refs. It’s league stupidity, said,“ Cuban.

He would continue by saying, the “2-minute report is going to be very interesting tomorrow. Will tell you so much about the management of the NBA officiating group.“

Hopefully, Cuban doesn’t get fined for his tweets, but we are happy to have some insight into how things work behind the scenes.

After the game, On ESPN the After The Buzzer postgame show, Steve Javie talks with Michelle Beadle, Jalen Rose, Paul Pierce, and Chauncey Billups. Billups started off by saying he felt that the refs have done a pretty good job all season with calls, but after game one of the Warriors and Rockets series, he doesn’t feel the same way. Javie was an NBA ref from 1986-2011, and he shared with the panel it a very difficult play to officiate in real time and explains the fundamentals that they go through and if he was not able to see it then they will not guess on the play.

We will see if this is will be monitored more closely beginning in game two and the rest of the postseason.
