Lizzo took Instagram to bare it all while dancing to her hit song ‘About Damn Time’ in a viral dance challenge that definitely did numbers that it went number one on TikTok user Jae Rae, whom the Truth Hurts’ artist shouted her out in her caption.
“I told y’all I got the song of the summer— we the #1 song on TikTok— I’m posting everyone who does this dance.”
About Damn Time is off of Lizzo’s upcoming album ‘Special’ dropping on July15, which she recently confirmed with Shay Diddy of 106.1 KMEL. She also shared that it is mixed, mastered, and ready to go. She was later asked what the album means to her and why she called it ‘Special.’
“It’s named after a song on the album called ‘Special,’ and I performed it on SNL this past weekend and I just feel it’s an incredible song and it really summed up everything about the album. It’s special in every single way because she took my time with, it’s like a classic album with really thought-out songs it took three years, so It is really special to me.”
