After six-long years Lil Wayne has unleashed his twelfth studio album, Tha Carter V.
The New Orleans native, initially announced that the album would be released back in 2012, but was delayed six years due to a long drawn out legal battle with Bryan “Birdman” Williams, the CEO of Cash Money Records. Earlier this year the two in conjunction with the parent company Universal Music Group were able to come to an eight-figure agreement. Allowing Wayne to be released from his Cash Money contract and he has been on social media teasing the release of the project ever since. Even posted a countdown link with a video revealing when he would be releasing the project earlier this week.
The 23 track project features appearance from Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, Reginae Carter (his daugther), Snoop Dogg and more. The album can be streamed below!
