LeBron James Associate Makes Bold Statement ‘Lakers Running The Gauntlet’

The Los Angeles Lakers have dropped nine out of their last 11 games, including a 106-101 loss to the Blazers on Friday night. After the loss, the Lakers have slipped into the seventh seed in the Western Conference, and if the season ended today, they would have to beat the eighth seed to stay in the seventh position.
However, according to Cuffs The Legend, the Lakers will be running the gauntlet.
On Saturday afternoon, the known associate of Lakers All-Star LeBron James took to Instagram to share a post that read, “This Championship run for the Lakers will be top-3 all-time.”
He wasn’t finished, and when it happens, he doesn’t want to be bothered.
“Don’t call my phone. Don’t text me. Don’t Tweet me. Don’t IG me. I don’t wanna hear nothing when they do it AGAIN!!”
With five games left, it will not be an easy task with LeBron James out with a high ankle sprain.
Lakers former trainer Marco Nunez explained James’ latest injury.
“They are categories as soreness; I think Frank Vogel came out and said that he did not re-aggravate his injury. There are no setbacks for him. Now, the question is the initial high ankle sprain when you damage something called the syndesmosis, which between the fibula and tibia. That’s probably healed that why they cleared him to come back and play. However, the one thing you have to consider the high ankle strain was a eversion meaning his foot went outward. When he did that he damaged some ligaments and tendons,” said Nunes.
“The syndesmosis is a fibrous joint held together by ligaments. It’s located near the ankle joint, between the tibia, or shinbone, and the distal fibula, or outside leg bone. That’s why it’s also called the distal tibiofibular syndesmosis. Syndesmosis is the terminology of the tissue between the fibula and tibia bone near the ankle.”
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, James is not expected to return until next week.
“Sources tell me LeBron James is aiming for return to the Lakers lineup next week,” Charania said. “I’m told the likely return scenario is Tuesday or Wednesday when the Lakers play the Knicks and Rockets at home. The Lakers and James won’t rush his return from this sore right ankle. They’ll make sure that when he does return, he’s as close to 100 percent as possible.”
After the loss to the Blazers, two former Lakers tweeted messages to the team.
“Man, I could help them Lakers boys during this time!” Said Isaiah Thomas.
Quinn Cook replied, “Killa!!! You know what it is, you’ve proven that year after year. Stay ready. We back on real soon.”
