Lakers’ Jeanie Buss Doubles-Down On Statement That Kobe Bryant Greatest Laker Ever

Earlier this year, Los Angeles Lakers Governor Jeanie Buss tweeted out that the late Kobe Bryant is the greatest Laker ever.
“I miss KB. He would understand and explain everything that I’m not allowed to. Honestly, he was the greatest Laker ever. He understood team over self. Meaning your rewards would come if you valued team goals over your own, then everything would fall into place. All can reply.”
In a recent interview with Mario Lopez and Access Hollywood, she would not be swayed by that stance.
“In my opinion, he’s the greatest Laker ever. You can debate that, but I’m wearing the Mambacita T-Shirt and the bracelet for Gigi and Kobe. I think what Kobe stood for and what meant to our fans, over coming adversity, winning the 3-peat with Shaq, Shaq leaves then bring the team back with Pau Gasol and winning two more championships. He really showed what can happen with work and the Mamba Mentality,” said Buss.
Bryant’s wife Vanessa would react to Buss promoting the Mambacita T-shirt and the rest band for Gigi and Kobe.
“Love you Jean Buss,” she wrote on her Instagram page.
