It also features artists such as Justin Timberlake, Chris Brown, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, The Weeknd, ASAP Rocky, Wale, Trey Songz, Young Jeezy, Big Sean, Pimp C, Trina, Yelawolf, and Project Pat.
Some of the hit records from that project include ‘Bandz a Make Her Dance,’ ‘Bounce It,’ and Show Out,’ Some other notable singles are Scholarship features A$AP Rocky, Talkin’ Bout featuring Wiz Khalifa and Chris Brown, and The Woods, which features Justin Timberlake.
When it essentially dropped, it made its debut in the number four slot, the US Billboard 200, and sold 64,000 copies in the first week. In an interview with Malik Yesuf, an affiliate of Taylor Gang, I revealed that Talkin’ Bout was my favorite single off that project, and he shared it was also his.
During the shoot of the Talkin Bout video, WIz Khalifa revealed how the song came about.
“The song was produced by ID Labs came together in the studio one late night. It was just an idea that I had heard the beat and loved it. And the beauty of those types of things is when one thing gets created, and somebody else hears it, and it gets a life of its own, and that is what this became. Juicy took it and turned it into something crazy. Now, we are here shooting the video,” said Wiz.
Happy eighth-anniversary, Juicy J, for your creation of Stay Trippy.
