H.E.R. Unleashes ‘Back of My Mind’ Featuring Artists Lil Baby, Chris Brown & DJ Khaled

It has been an incredible year for H.E.R.
The singer and songwriter shocked the world in April when she won the best song Oscar for “Fight for You.”
Back in March, she won song of the year for “I Can’t Breathe,” and the best R&B song “Better Than I Imagined” at the Grammy Awards. The BET awards next week, and she is nominated for Best Female R&B / POP ARTIST and The BET Awards Dr. Bobby Jones Best Gospel/Inspirational Award.
This was an opportunity to garner attention to release her new album, Back of My Mind. This is H.E.R.’s debut project that was released at midnight on Friday morning, which features heavy hitters such as Ty Dolla $ign, Lil Baby, Thundercat, Chris Brown, and DJ Khaled. The project features 21 singles.
H.E.R held a release party on Clubhouse where fans and industry colleagues were able to ask her questions.
“You know when you are a little kid and you don’t know what to with yourself? And you can sleep or you can eat? That is where I am at right now, and I’m thankful for everybody that played a huge part in this project,” said H.E.R.
“It really takes a village and it is scary that this is only the beginning.”
