After years of illness and injury, she lost a lung and suffered vocal cord damage that at one time threatened to silence her forever, and Nicolas could have easily vanished into muteness. Instead, she forged a path forward with the help of technology and endless human resolve in her quest to rediscover her voice.
The result is a song that hums with both authenticity and appreciation. It’s both personal and global, offering solace to anyone who has experienced isolation, loss, or tumult.
