DeDe In The Morning & Nikki Lewis Reflect on First Annual Crème De Le Crème Fashion Show In Dallas

This past weekend, LandonBuford.com was invited by MR Color_ CEO to cover the first annual Crème De Le Crème Fashion Show.
K104’s De De In the Morning hosted the fashion it was brought to us by Nikki Lewis, Jason Mitchell, and Nikki Tee.
The show featured politicians, judges, Jaylen Smith and Craig Robinson from the New Orleans Saints as some of the models. The Crème De Le Crème Fashion Show also showcased Dallas-based designers to raise money for the Oak Cliff community.
When speaking with Nikki Lewis, she shared why it was essential to showcase Dallas designers.
“I have always been a fashion-friendly forward person and love planning clothes and making women and men feel beautiful. I wanted to do something for the community for high fashion as opposed to a regular fashion show and wear different designers. I also wanted to highlight some of the designers that many people are not necessarily aware of in Dallas or all over the world. So, there were designers sending things from all over the world to us in boxes and just supporting,” said Lewis.
“I didn’t think it would get this big, but I appreciate all the support. I did it because it was more of a charity event giving back. Next year we are going to continue to do things like that. So, that was the goal of giving back to the community and making people have a night on the town and feel lovely & beautiful. Putting on your nicest clothes and come out looking at other designers’ beautiful things.”
Lewis also talked about having the public figures and celebrity guest in attendance.
“It quite a few great individuals here, all the mayors and judges. Of course, you have the Mayor from New Orleans [LaToya Cantrell]and Mayor Curtis J. Cornelious from Little Elm. So, it is fantastic. I didn’t know these many people would come and show up. I loved the crowd and the response we got.”
Per Lewis, a program called Live University.
“Live University is a fast-paced internship program that allows students to have on-the-job training in various fields. Such as film and TV And in my case fashion. Our entire production team was the first students to go threw the program!! For many of them, this was their first fashion show.”
The three principals of Live University are leadership, entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.
LandonBuford.com also spoke with K 104’s DeDe in The Morning’s DeDe McGuire about which designs she thought were the best in the fashion show.
“There were so many, and it was great to see so many great from Dallas living here in the city; it was hard to say,” said McGuire.
“They were also good every single one and from your it was like every single one was for me.”
We also had the opportunity to speak with one of the designers by name of Oliver Michael Fitzpatrick with Ndeed Regime.
“My name is Oliver Michael Fitzpatrick, and I’m a fashion designer of Ndeed Regime LLC. I have been doing this since 2013, and the experience here was amazing. I think the vibes tonight and ambiance are great. It had good food and good music. We got some water because it was 100 degrees outside. We got people with all types of venues here,” Fitzpatrick said.
“They have shades, hats, accessories, and different things. It turned out nice, man, and I enjoyed myself. I’m honored to showcase my brand here amongst this great group of people, and you can hear the music now; it’s a vibe.”
As Fitzpatrick said, it was a fun and enjoyable event, and it was able to showcase a lot of different designers. It was also all for a great cause within the Dallas community, and we here at LandonBuford.com can’t wait for what else Nikki Lewis has in store moving forward.
