Dallas Wings Flight Canceled Due To Weather Conditions In Dallas After Tying Series With Sun

The Dallas Wings even the series with the Connecticut Sun in Connecticut 89-79. After the game, Wings’ forward Isabelle Harrison tweeted that their flight was canceled back to Dallas.
“Hey, Cathy Engelbert, our flight got canceled. Can we get a charter?”
This the second time in this month that the WNBA community has had to deal with cancelled flights this season.
Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Sparks were stranded in Washington after beating the Mystics almost three weeks ago. According to Sparks forward and President of the Players Association Nneka Ogwumike.
Per WFAA’s William Joy, “Weather is having a major impact on flights right now. Flight Aware showing 1,108 Southwest flights and 722 American flights have been delayed.
“20% of DFW flights have been canceled and 29% delayed. 20% of Love Field flights delayed.”
WNBA and NBA reporter Dorothy J. Gentry tweeted, “It’s storming here in Dallas so likely weather-related but they need to get home safely. Please and thank you.”
The Dallas Wings and Connecticut Sun to play game three on Wednesday August 24th at 9 pm EST.
