Bobby Sessions Opens Up About Winning First Grammy With Megan Thee Stallion & Beyoncé

Dallas native and Grammy winner Bobby Sessions was in a superhero form on Clubhouse on Saturday after noon. The form on Clubhouse was created to discuss Sessions’ involvement in the BlackPanther #24 issue. Sessions also talked about his involvement in the ‘Savage Remix” with Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé.
“I won a Grammy for being a part of the ‘Savage Remix” with Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé. Many of our people won Jay-Z, The-Dream, along with others, and the song had a big impact that provided a lot of positive energy during a difficult time. It was an incredible manifestation because it is something that I think every artist and every creative has dreamed of about winning one of them,” said Sessions.
“Seeing the moment when they pull the winner out of the envelope. It was an exciting time, especially around Megan, seeing somebody who’s works that hard and is that talented. Being so deserving, it is good to see good people win and be part of.”
The ‘Savage Remix” won two awards at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, according to Ana Monroy Yglesias of GRAMMY.com.
On Friday, Stallion was a part of a Grubhub livestream Q&A for women’s month. During her session, Stallion shared that depending on the day her taste in music it varies.
“Depending on the day my taste in music varies. I l ike hip hop when I want to be turnt as I usually am. And you know the hotties may not know this about me, but when I want to chill and be calm, maybe make my dogs calm down, I put on some jazz,” said Stallion.
