RESPECT.: You are the lead character in Anathema, can you tell us what that was like?
It was a tricky and intriguing experience for me as an actor. I play a detective and the role allowed me to see what it was like to be an officer of the law in small town USA. We filmed in Tennessee and the northern part of Georgia.
RESPECT.: How was filming in Tennessee and Georgia with all the protests?
We were isolated in terms of work and we were so focused on trying to get this project finished. Every location, that we filmed was inside of a school or another location that we did not see any of the protests.
RESPECT.: You have a background in boxing can you tell us what are some of the techniques that Connor might not be prepared for?
As an MMA fighter, Connor is not a conventional boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr. has been boxing for over two decades and has beaten the best of best. Floyd has been a champion in several different weights class and has won unified belts. Him fighting McGregor is like stepping in the ring with a D class boxer after the list of professional boxers like Shane Mosley, Oscar De La Hoya, and Canelo in their primes. This is a money fight and that is great for both competitors, but Floyd will be laughing all the way to the bank. He will out box and outsmart McGregor just like he does everyone else.
RESPECT.: Where do you and your wife Daya plan on watching the fight this weekend?
We will probably watch the fight at home on the couch or with friends at their house.
RESPECT.: How many rounds do you think the fight will last?
I don’t know how many rounds the fight will be, but I feel Floyd will win by unanimous decision.
RESPECT.: What do you think about public figures such as yourself using their platforms to bring awareness to social issues?
I wouldn’t call myself an activist, but I do believe in fighting for the underdog and associated issues. Whether that means its political or racial I will always fight for what I think is right. Especially, when you hear about these unfortunate children and the homeless in America is very upsetting and I’ll always be an advocate for change.
