Drake Sounds Off On Generation Z Behavior Being Weak [Watch]

Drake had always been a fan of the sport of boxing, but after witnessing a bizarre incident at the first official press conference for the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz fight, he was left disappointed with the new generation of fighters.

It all started when one of Jake Paul’s Betr Media employees, Derek, decided to question Nate Diaz about his brother Nick’s fighting abilities. Diaz, being taken aback by the seemingly random comment, addressed him head-on and called out Derek for his off-script actions.

“Nate, I’m actually a boxer myself, and I’ve been trying to get into this undercard,” he said. “I’m just wondering if you think I could fight your brother Nick [a former UFC fighter]. If he’s anything like you, I think I’d beat his f**king a**.”

Jake Paul quickly intervened and guaranteed Derek’s termination on the spot, apologizing to Diaz for the incident. However, Drake caught wind of the situation and took to his Instagram account to express his disappointment in the new generation of fighters.

Brother, what? Are you just gonna walk away on the streets or some sh*t?,” he asked. “Do you know all my homeboys see you right now? Yeah, that was stupid…Hey, Derek from Betr Media. Stupid ass motherf**ker. The f**k? You deserve to have your a** whooped.”

Drake called out the “weak” behavior of the new generation and expressed his disappointment in the actions of Derek, who he felt had disrespected a “real g” like Nate Diaz. Derek later sent out an apology for his actions, but not before challenging Drake to a fight.

The Paul vs Diaz fight was set for August 8, 2023, at the American Airlines Center in Dallas. It was a historical bout between the two athletes, and Diaz was set to partake in a professional boxing exhibition for the first time.

As the fight approached, tensions were high between the two camps, and the media coverage was intense. However, when it came time for the two fighters to face each other in the ring, it was clear that both will be there to win.
