Cowboys’ QB Dak Prescott Catches A Stray By Lakers’ Fan As He Trolls Grizzlies’ Dillon Brooks [Watch]

Former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is calling on quarterback Dak Prescott to push the team to make a trade for Arizona Cardinals wideout DeAndre Hopkins. Bryant believes that the Cowboys need to add more weapons to their offense, especially after seeing the Philadelphia Eagles make some big moves during the draft. He thinks that Hopkins would be a perfect addition to the team, and he tweeted at Prescott, urging him to go to the front office and make the trade happen.

“I like Deandre Hopkins on the Cowboys because the ball don’t necessarily need to be thrown perfect and I think Dak Ceedee will benefit tremendously with hop on the other side,” Bryant shared via Twitter. “Ceedee hop cooks Gallup is the line up at the wideout position.. OMG… Dak go tell the front office this who you want to throw the ball to… We gotta compete with them Eagles.”

While it’s true that adding Hopkins would be a huge boost to the Cowboys’ offense, it may not be easy to make the trade happen. Hopkins is currently on a massive deal that would require restructuring, and the Cardinals have said that they don’t expect to trade him after shopping him earlier this offseason. However, if Hopkins were to get cut, the idea of him joining the Cowboys would become much more interesting. Only time will tell if the Cowboys are able to make the move, but one thing is clear: the team needs to keep up with their rivals in the NFC East if they want to compete for a playoff spot this year.

Speaking of Prescott, he recently caught a stray insult from a Lakers’ fan during Dillon Brooks’ pregame warmup for game six against the Los Angeles Lakers.

During Brooks practicing his free-throw routine and missing the fan captured it [Dak Prescott].

Like Cowboys nation and the NFL community were roasting Prescott for his costly turnovers in their playoff game loss to the San Francisco 49ers, including the Cowboys’ own Twitter page which wrote, “Dak Prescott gave away the ball twice in the narrow loss to the 49ers, in a matchup the Cowboys had a chance to win if they didn’t again generate self-inflicted wounds,” the tweet read. It included a photo of a dejected Prescott and a link to a story with the headline “Dak on Loss to 49ers: Unacceptable, 100% On Me.”

The NBA community is doing the same to Dillon Brooks.
