Wack 100, the West Coast executive and manager, has found himself in the midst of another controversy.
This time, it involves Fat Joe’s long-standing issues with Big Pun’s widow, Liza Rios. During a recent Instagram video post, Wack 100 claimed that he worked things out with Rios to help her family and seemingly called out Fat Joe over allegations that he withheld Pun’s royalties from the late rapper’s family.
However, Wack later clarified his stance and explained that he never had a conversation with Fat Joe about Big Pun or business with Big Pun. He also said that his most recent interaction with Joe was pleasant and that they have been friends for a long time.
Wack revealed that he wasn’t entirely knowledgeable about the issues between Fat Joe and Liza Rios before meeting with her. He went on to say that he lined up a situation that was healthy for Rios and reached out to his team to push a series on Big Pun, which he said is now on the way.
In the end, Wack 100 wanted to dispel any rumors of issues between him and Fat Joe, stating that they have never had a conversation surrounding Big Pun in the past. He stressed that Fat Joe is a friend of his and wants to see Big Pun’s family win. It seems that Wack 100’s intentions were to do right by Big Pun’s legacy and help his family, and he hopes that the controversy can be put to rest.
