The head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders, Josh McDaniels, reportedly spilled beans on Darren Waller’s upcoming wedding with Las Vegas Aces star Kelsey Plum. Plum recently won a WNBA Championship with the Aces.
Adam Schefter from ESPN reported Tuesday that the Raiders are trading Waller for the New York Giants for a third-round pick in 2023.
In what may be a coincidence, Vic Tafur from The Athletic reported that Waller was frustrated by McDaniels, who and general manager Dave Ziegler, officially announced his wedding.
Plum later mentioned on Twitter that McDaniels was not invited to the wedding:
According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, trade speculation surrounding Waller dates back to the 2022 trade deadline when the Green Bay Packers tried to acquire the 2020 Pro Baller offering a second-round pick. Fowler also reported the Packers tried to trade for Waller in the offseason.
