Shrill Carder, the Manchester-based alternative hip-hop duo, has just released their latest single, “Pacifist.” The self-produced song offers a powerful reflection on the chaotic and confusing times we find ourselves in, with lyrics that address the darker side of humanity and the need for unity and peace.
Mixed and mastered by Reklews from Blah Records, “Pacifist” is a melodic and introspective piece that blends soulful melodies, insightful lyricism, and a smoothly crafted instrumental. The song’s accompanying music video, directed by local creatives Reel Soundz, showcases the disarray spread across the UK in recent years.
With “Pacifist,” Shrill Carder cements their place as a rising force in the alternative hip-hop scene. Comprised of vocalist and guitarist Harry Wilkinson and producer Nathan Rowbotham, the duo burst onto the scene with their debut single, “The Shape Shifter,” and are set to release more music in the coming months.
