Jade Fields, the alter ego of Toronto-based producer and songwriter Chris Chiu, has released a haunting new single titled “Blue Yaris.” The song recounts a harrowing experience from Jade’s past where he narrowly escaped death after crashing into a deer that darted onto the road. The song’s name is a nod to the model of Jade’s father’s car that he was driving at the time.
