On Wednesday February 22, 2023, the Portland Trailblazers found themselves stuck on a plane at the airport for seven hours due to heavy snowfall. The team was scheduled to fly to Sacramento for their game against the Kings on Thursday, but the snowstorm had other plans.
The snowfall was so severe that it resulted in the cancellation Trailblazers were among those affected, and the team’s plane was grounded on the tarmac for several hours.
The delay was undoubtedly frustrating for the players, who were eager to get to Sacramento and prepare for their game against the Kings. However, they did their best to make the most of the situation.
To pass the time Dame Dolla elects to create a new song and the whole team was featured in the music video and posted it on his Instagram page with the caption, “When you stuck on the plane for 7 hours and the flight get canceled 🤷🏽♂️ … guess we try again TOMORROW. I shoulda finished…”

Listeners will notice a reference to Gilbert Arenas.

Lillard complimented her team on having good outdoor shooters, while also hinting at the infamous Wizards locker room incident in late 2009.
Arenas brought them into the Wizards’ locker room and introduced them to his teammate Javaris Crittenton in what he claimed was a prank. The NBA said it wasn’t funny and suspended him. Arenas was also charged for violating Washington D.C.’s laws.
Also in the video they looked like they were in good spirits and made the best of a difficult situation. Despite the delay, the Trailblazers remained focused on their goal of winning their upcoming game in Sacramento.
