Stephen Jackson, Kendrick Perkins, Powers’ Rotimi, And Dez Bryant Pack Up Skip Bayless After Tweet About Damar Hamlin

FS1 analyst Skip Bayless drew the wrath of the entire NFL community after tweeting an insensitive comment regarding the horrific injuries suffered by Buffalo Bills safety Damar Hamlin at a football game on Monday night against Bengals Cincinnati.

Bayless was apparently more worried about how the league would handle a postponement so late in the season than about the player’s health.

“No doubt the NFL is considering postponing the rest of this game – but how,” Bayless tweeted. “This late in the season, a game of this magnitude is crucial to the regular-season outcome … which suddenly seems so irrelevant.”

After seeing this week former NBA veteran Stephen Jackson tweeted, “Ima slap the shit outta Skip Bayless u too bold. All respect gone.”

Fellow former NBA veteran Kendrick Perkins tweeted, “You’re a sick individual. Real Talk.”

Actor and singer Rotimi best know for his role as Andre Coleman in the original Power added, “You should be fired!!! You’re a sick person, said Rotimi.

Then former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant tweeted, “F*** You Skip Bayless.”

He follow that tweet up with, “We need to cancel Skip Bayless ASAP.”

Almost an hour later, Bayless, who faced his share of controversy throughout his career, tried to clear up the deaf tweet. Bayless reiterated that Hamlin’s health is still more important than anything else before apologizing for the tweet.

“Nothing is more important than that young man’s health. That was the point of my last tweet,” said Bayless. “I’m sorry if that was misunderstood but his health is all that matters. Again, everything else is irrelevant. I prayed for him & will continue to.”
