Buddy Hield spent six seasons with the Sacramento Kings and was sent to the Indiana Pacers halfway through last season. Despite his long mandate with Kings, this man seems to have no love for his ancient city.
The Pacers were in action Wednesday as they defeated the mighty Celtics of Boston in the TD Garden, 117-112. During Thursday morning’s shooting around, the Pacers did their usual interviews with the press. What’s shocking is that Hield was heard directing a wild NSFW live in Sacramento during one of his teammate’s interviews.
“Yo Sacramento, suck my d**k!” Hield said.
There’s no love lost between the Kings and Hield. In 2020, he was not happy last season after losing his starting spot in Sacramento. He was put on the bench by Luke Walton and replaced by Bogdan Bogdanovic; he was on the bench when the Kings were down three in the last few seconds.
After that season, a source within Hield’s camp shared with us, that he wanted out of Sacramento and would prefer to play in Dallas.
Hield along with Tyrese Haliburton, and Tristan Thompson to the Indiana Pacers in exchange for Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb, Justin Holiday and a protected 2023 second-round pick, according to CBS Sports.com.
