Ice Cube Turned Down A $9 Million Project For Opting-Out Of COVID Vaccine & Never Charged For Feature [Watch]

CNN

Ice Cube was a recent guest along with 2 Short and E40 on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game Podcast with Gillie Da Kidd. During the sit-down Cube shared that he missed out on a $9 million check because he refused to get vaccinated.

Cube was preparing to play in a Sony comedy movie entitled “Oh Hell No,” directed by Kitao Sakurai, director of “Bad Trip,” starring Jack Black. It is reported that the makers of the film have requested that all members of the cast be vaccinated in order to continue their work on the film.

Cube would then detail some of the specifics during the interview.

“I turned down a movie because I didn’t want to get the motherf***ing jab. I turned down $9 million. I didn’t want to get the jab. F*** that jab. F*** ya’ll for trying to make me get it. I don’t know how Hollywood feels about me right now,” said Cube.

Cube added, “Those motherfuckers didn’t give it to me because I wouldn’t get the shot. I didn’t turn it down. They just wouldn’t give it to me. The covid shot, the jab…I didn’t need it. I didn’t catch that sh*t at all. Nothing. F*** them. I didn’t need that s***.”

Also, in that same interview, E-40 shared that when he was coming up in the industry Ice Cube didn’t charge him anything. “Cube he did everything. No money. We just exchanged. It was just nothing but love,” E-40 said.

“He never charged me nothing — nothing. Tupac never charged me nothing. Too Short never charged me. None of the legends charged either man.”

“I’ve never charged nobody ever for a feature. Either I’m f***ing with you or I’m not,” Ice Cube said.
