21 Savage Questions “Nas” Hip Hop Relevancy In a recent controversial conversation on Clubhouse, rapper 21 Savage who co-released album “Her Loss” with OVO phenom artist Drake on November 4th. That quickly charted in the billboard.
The London rapper questioned the relevance of NAS artistry in the Hip Hop Industry. Stating that he isn’t relevant in today’s rap game, “he just has a loyal fan base that he still makes good a** music for.”

He later tweeted just to clear the air of his previous statements saying, “I would never disrespect Nas or any legend who paved the way for me y’all be tryna take stuff and run with it” Fans on the virtual stage defined relevancy as anyone who’s under the age of 30 not checking for new music from Nas.
Outside of his core fans that is. 21 dismissed every example tossed his way about whether or not the artist out of Brooklyn, NY is still relevant.
21 asked the stage to name some artists from the Nas era that could drop a album today and it’ll still be good. They covered names from Jay-Z, Snoop, Fat Joe, Scarface and few others.
