Drake Mentions Recently Retired Tennis Legend Serena Williams On “Middle of the Ocean” & Goes In On Alexis Ohanian, “Your Husband Is A Groupie”

When Serena Williams married Alexis Ohanian, he was not known in the sports industry or the entertainment industry. While co-founder of one of the most famous social media sites, Reddit, Ohanian kept it to himself before his relationship with the 23-time Grand Slam champion. They tied the knot in the year 2017 and slowly the fans started to worship it. They embraced him as one of them. However, it was not understood by some that she had chosen him over other celebrities.

Canadian rapper Drake is one of these well-known figures.

It seems that the former rumored boyfriend of the 23-time Grand Slam champion is not above his alleged relationship, as he recently released a song that features a diss in Ohanian’s direction.

Drake recently released an album titled ‘Her Loss’ in collaboration with 21 Savage. On one of the 16 tracks of the album, he mentions Williams and her husband. The verse of the song “Middle of the Ocean” for Williams says:

“Side bar Serena your husband is a groupie, he claim we don’t got a problem but no boo it is like you comin’ for sushi. We might pop up on ’em at will like Suzuki,” says Drake.

He then continues “The f*** would y’all really do without me? For your birthday, your man got a table at Hibachi Last time I ate there, Wayne was doin’ numbers off the cup like Yahtzee.”

In the mid 2010s, there were rumors of Williams dating Drake. He began tweeting about her and became a regular spectator at many of her high-profile matches.

In addition, he dedicated a verse in his single ‘Worst Behavior’ in 2013 and got caught up in a verbal beef with with Williams’ ex-boyfriend, Common.

Williams and Ohanian first met in 2015 in Rome.
