Balenciaga is breaking off its partnership with Kanye West. Parent company Kering confirmed to FN sister publication WWD that the French fashion house would no longer work with West, who know goes by Ye, following a series of controversial and anti-semitic statements. Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist,” parent company Kering told WWD.
The “Billionaire” rapper, has worked with the French fashion house, most recently opening their summer 2023 show during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year. Kanye appeared in one of the latest fashion trends.
The image of Ye’ in rugged tactical gear with a Balenciaga mouth guard has been removed from Balenciaga’s website.
