During Sunday Night Football between the leaders of Kansas City and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, football fans were maybe the last taste of Mahomes against Tom Brady in the NFL.
Unfortunately for Buccaneers fans, Mahomes won the battle as the second quarter progressed, with the Chiefs up 14-3 and looking for more at the 11-and-a-minute mark.
Mahomes worked his magic again against the Buccaneers’ defense, running and spinning his way back to the line of scrimmage before flipping the ball into the end zone. Clyde Edwards-Helaire took the surprise touchdown ball, finishing another incredible individual effort by Mahomes to lead 21-3.
After seeing what Mahomes did to the Buccaneers, Los Angeles Lakers forward LeBron James tweeted, “Patty Mahomes, so damn good.”
ESPN analyst and host of “The Pivot,” Ryan Clark tweeted, “Bruh, I’m so tired of this dude… Patrick Mahomes is playing Globetrotters with the Buccs. Escaped the pocket, hit a Curly Neal spin to the Sweet Lou Dunbar side step, and the Jimmy BlackLock floater to finish for the TD to CEH!”
ESPN analyst added, “Patrick Mahomes is flipping good.”
