Fox Sports’ Emmanuel Acho & Lance Zierlein Reacts To Saints & Bucs Fight Involving Mike Evans & Marshon Lattimore

USA Today

Things got messy between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints, and we got ejections.

Bucs receiver Mike Evans and Saints’ cornerback Marshon Lattimore were both ejected after a fight that turned into a brawl between the NFC South rivals.

After Lattimore spoke with Tom Brady and then pushed Leonard Fournette into the face, Evans stepped off the sidelines and knocked Lattimore off his feet, triggering the biggest fight.

Both players were penalized for personal misconduct and were thrown out.

Fox Analyst Emmanuel Acho saw the fight and tweeted, “Mike Evans and Lattimore ejected… they out here fighting for real.”

Sports analyst and commentator, Lance Zierlein added, “When the final book of football is written, it will state that no two players hated each other more than Marshon Lattimore and Mike Evans.

This is not the first time Evans has laid Lattimore on the field. He struck him in the back in 2017 in a New Orleans game after the cornerback pushed Buccaneers-era quarterback Jameis Winston on the sideline after he touched the back of Lattimore’s helmet.

After the game, Buccaneers Head Coach Todd Bowles addressed the brawl between the Saints and Bucs.

“It was a lot of pushing and shoving and flags flying, and the next thing you know everyone was storming the field,” said Bowles. “We lost a good player, they lost a good player. It was a physical ballgame.”

“I don’t know if it was a turning point – we were into the ballgame, it was 3-3 at that point and it could have went either way,” said Bowles. “We had to make some plays. Dean came up big twice, Mike came up big and we got a fumble at the end. So I guess that was the turning point but we were into the game and the time was getting down to the fourth quarter anyway so we were trying to make a play.”
