T.I. Goes In On The Atlanta Falcons For Selecting Power Star Rotimi For Falcons New Fight Song [Watch]

Twitter

The Atlanta Falcons might not be considered a favorite for the 2022-2023 NFL playoffs, but the organization got the fans talking after enlisting Rotimi for their official song, “Combat.”

A short video was posted on the Falcons’ official Instagram account where the actor/singer sings, “Red, black, and white, yeah/ We gone rise up/ ATL that city, we go higher.”

Fans have since emphasized that Rotimi is from New Jersey and argued that several local artists were more deserving of the occasion.

Among those that were surprised by the decision of the Falcons was a rapper and die-hard Falcons fan T.I., who turned to social media to ask himself why his team neglected its biggest stars.

T.I. and Ludacris were among the rappers to send a message to the Falcons organization on Sunday (September 11th).

“Yoooo @atlantafalcons Dis what it’s posed to hit like…Y’all need some help hit us,” Tip captioned a photo of himself alongside ATLiens Luda and Jeezy.

Ludacris added: “Dats Powerful!”

T.I was not done with the Falcons. In a separate post called the Atlanta Falcons on Instagram for choosing Rotimi when they have so many talents to choose from all over their hometown.

“Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta Falcons. Atlanta Falcons, listen, who in the fuck did you call, bro?” T.I. asked. “I ain’t got no problem with Rotimi. Rotimi is a good cat, man. I f*** with Rotimi. He a brother. He’s an ally. He’s a brother, and we f*** with him.

“We have so much culture, so much talent in the city, man. So many hardcore, die-hard Falcon fans that happen to be A-list talent in the city.”

He added: “I know Quavo would’ve did it. I know 2 Chainz would’ve did it. I know Killer Mike would’ve did it. I mean, I would’ve did it. I know Jeezy would’ve did it. Bruh, who approved that? Who’s sitting in these meetings?”

The Falcons would fall to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon 27-26 at home.
