Former First Lady Hillary Clinton Shoots On When She First Heard Megan Thee Stallion’s ‘WAP’ [Watch]

Apple TV has released a new docuseries with Hillary and her daughter Chelsea Clinton as hosts. The “Gutsy” shows the duet traveling across the country, stopping to talk to iconic women along the way. Among the guests are women such as Kim Kardashian, Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes, and Megan Thee Stallion.

“Gutsy” created Friday (Sept. 9), but social media is completely entertained with the story of Hillary behind the way she found out who Megan Thee Stallion is. While the artist was painting in a backyard with the politician and her daughter, interesting details were shared. Hillary revealed that while Chelsea has always followed rap music, it was quite recently that the former first lady learned about the Houston native. “I kind of came into awareness of you with the Cardi B ‘WAP,’” Hillary said to Megan.

Megan shared that male rappers always seemed so confident in discussing their sexuality in their lyrics, and she was forced to do the same Chelsea added. Before the show debuted, Hillary spoke with People about the series. Hillary said she was, “admired the audacity and the kind of agency that both of those young women were exhibiting, ‘Here I am. Here’s what I want to say, and either like it or not.’ I did respond to that.”
