No one can get away from Royce O’Neale’s antics. Not even his mother.
Royce O’Neale hosts his yearly basketball camp at Harker Heights High School. O’Neale shared several clips of the camp’s Instagram story on Saturday. In addition to working with campers on drills and fundamentals, there was a one-on-one game.
In one of the clips, O’Neale was seen playing one-on-one against his mom. O’Neale started backing down his mom. Then it made a quick move that sent its mother to the ground.
The defensive specialist did his mother dirty! No showed no mercy whatsoever!
O’Neale got traded by Utah Jazz to the Brooklyn Nets at the end of June. The movement reported that Utah was heading toward a rebuilding, which was confirmed when the team later treated Rudy Gobert.
Neale has averaged 6.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game over the course of his career.
In a recent interview with Chris Carrino on the Voice of the Nets podcast.
O’Neale is thrilled to start in Brooklyn and has commented on his relationship with some of his new Nets teammates.
“Once I got traded, Ben (Simmons) was actually one of the first guys to hit me up,” O’Neale said. “I’ve been talking a little bit with Patty (Mills), and you know a couple of other guys, Nic (Claxton) and a couple of others. I’m excited, and you know, just getting to know them. They’ve all really made me feel welcome. It’s been great so far.”
