The biggest story of the NBA offseason has been Kevin Durant asking for a trade out of Brooklyn. Just days before his four-year extension was supposed to begin. According to the NY Post, Durant called Nets owner Joe Tsai personally to ask to be traded.

Per the NY Post, Brooklyn General Manager Sean Marks has agreed to work with Durant and his business partner, Rich Kleiman, to find a new home for Durant.

Yahoo Sports reported the Suns are his top choice, with Miami another preference.

On Thursday afternoon on NBA Today, former Spurs guard, Tony Parker was asked by ESPN’s Malika Andrews where he thought Kevin Durant should play next season.

“It’s funny that you asked because I saw Sean Marks and Steve Nash, who is a great friend,” said Parker.

“It’s not easy because what ever decision they are going to make or trade that they make, if they even make a trade. They will never get back what they had w KD. KD is one of the best in the history of our game.”

As Parker shared he was a summer league and while he was there, he was asked about the direction of the Spurs moving forward. The franchise just traded away All-Star guard Dejounte Murray and three 19-year-olds in the 2022 draft.

“I have no idea what we’re doing as a franchise, so I can’t wait for my dinner with Coach Pop,” Parker said. “On July 20 we have a big dinner … I can’t wait to have a dinner with him and catch up on the team and what we trying to do,” said Parker.

Tony Parker named to All-Time NBA European First Team earlier this year, according to mysanantonio.com.
