Sixers James Harden, Joel Embidd, & PJ Tucker Turn Up In The Hamptons With Meek & Drake

It’s the offseason in the NBA. The moment when players relax a little before going back to training before training camp and another exhausting season.

The Philadelphia 76ers will have a full season with James Harden, so it’s time for team bonding and chemical growth in the band. They did that over the Fourth of July weekend.

Harden, Joel Embiid, and even Tyrese Maxey were in the Hamptons at a party and welcomed PJ Tucker to Philly. At that celebration were music artists Meek Mill, Drake, Travis Scott, Miguel, and others.

Drake has had a pretty busy Fourth of July weekend. First, he was brought out on stage by the Backstreet Boys to perform their iconic single, “I Want It That Way,” in his hometown of Toronto, as they were in town for their DNA World Tour. On Sunday night, he was partying with his industry peers in The Hamptons while welcoming PJ to the city of Brotherly Love.

Tucker signed a three year deal with the Sixers for $33.2 million.

Speaking of Meek, in one of the newest episodes of The Joe Budden Podcast, the former rapper crowned Meek Mill’s first album of “Dreams and Nightmares” the best intro rap song of all time. The song has been playing in clubs around the country since the Philadelphia native dropped it in 2012.

“Meek for me has the best rap song of the last decade,” Budden said. “I don’t think it’s blasphemous to say. It can be said. It’s safe to say.”
