Meet Music Journalist TracyMitchellVA

If you’ve never heard of Tracy Mitchell, your favorite artist may have. The journalist and entertainment publicist began working in the media business in 2016. When she was 20 years old, she was inspired by Kanye West’s album “The Life of Pablo.”

Tracy created a blog website to write her thoughts and emotions about the album. It automatically started trending in DC, Maryland, and Virginia as the go-to for new music and underground artists who wanted to be heard. But it wasn’t until she was admitted to her dream college, Old Dominion University, that she took her writing hobby seriously and made it a career. Her career took off when she accepted an editorial position for RESPECT. MAG and This Is 50. Over the years, she has been able to build her own media empire and is now one of the hottest publicists in the country.
