The Miami Heat are coming off the All-Star break and taking on the Knicks tonight on the road. However, before Miami takes on the Knicks, some Heat players enjoyed the nightlife in the “City That Never Sleeps.”

According to a source, The Miami Heat were partying at Bounce Sporting Club in the Famous Flatiron District.

The Miami Heat are in first place in the east with a 38-21 record, with veterans Jimmy Butler, Kyle Lowry, and PJ Tucker have the three-time champions poised to make another possible NBA Finals run. Meanwhile, the Knicks enter tonight’s contest with a 25-34 record and currently sit 12th in the eastern conference.

Speaking of Jimmy Butler, he was the only one that participated in All-Star Game this past weekend, recording two points and one assist in nine minutes. However, after the game, Butler elected not to fill his postgame obligations, which related to a $25,000 fine for violating media rules and not complying with the NBA’s investigation. The league announced the fine earlier today, according to NBA.com.

Last Tuesday was Feb. 22, 2022, also known as 2-22-22. It is also the number that six-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler wears. Butler did not let the moment pass without taking to social media to have fun. He elected to celebrate the day by posting a video of himself declaring it as “Jimmy Butler Day.”

“That’s how they want me to say it,” Butler said after being on his best behavior. “That’s not how I say it, though. Check the next line.”

“It’s f***** Jimmy Butler Day for all you b****** out there,” Butler said. “2-22-22. Now get that camera out my f***** face and let me celebrate my day.”

The Miami takes on the New York Knicks at 7:30 pm EST.
