James St. Patrick [Ghost] was shot by his son Tariq St. Patrick at his club Truth in the final season of the original ‘Power’ because Ghost stood in the way of his son’s freedom. Following Tariq killing a dirty cop by the name of Ray-Ray after he killed his sister Raina St. Patrick.

James St. Patrick was looking to transition from a ruthless drug kingpin and businessman into a politician, but he made a lot of enemies along the way. Including his son, who he wanted to turn in for the death of Ray-Ray, and Tariq couldn’t allow it.

On Monday afternoon, Joseph Sikora, who plays Tommy Egan in the Power, Universe, was on Instagram Live—speaking with other Force cast members with the pilot episode premiering on February 6, 2022.

During the Live Sikora was asked twice about Ghost [Omari Hardwick].

The first time he was asked will ghost make an appearance as a ghost.

“He very well might,” said Sikora. He could also make an appearance as alive character you never know.

The second time Omari Hardwick was mentioned by name and would he be on the new show.

“He might be,” Sikora shared.

As for Hardwick, he made an appearance on the podcast, “Welcome to Higher Learning with Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsey last April and shared that he never closes the door on a possible return to the Power Universe.

“I never close the door. I never did, I wasn’t the person with the doorknob in hand nor the key. If you caught my wind. That was me, so I am never not open,” said Hardwick.

“Hell, you named the guy Ghost and so to me there is always a possibility of being just that. Since we are on Lord of Zombie, you are not going against the subject. He really lives in a ghost space at this point, so, now that we know he is not on earth, there’s a reality where you can have flashbacks.”

He added, that he was hoping to do seven seasons like The Sopranos, but said it was “Very unique to go six season kind of odd. You either go five seasons or seven.”

Hardwick is currently working on Army of the Dead as the character Vanderohe.
