Earlier this week, Jay-Z had Verzuz trending after asking during a question and answer period for Alicia Keys’ new album ‘Keys’ hosted by Rob Markman and Genius on Twitter Spaces. Jay-Z shared that no one can stand on stage with him for a Verzuz battle during that segment.

“There’s not a chance in hell that anyone can stand on that stage for… I don’t know how long it is? Two hours? Two hours…. That’s ain’t gonna never happen.”

He added, “You got to stand in front of the ‘Grammy Family Freestyle’ live? No one has ever even seen me perform that, you got to stand in front of that? That ain’t never going to happen.”

Of course, it sparked numerous rooms on the Clubhouse app, including one in Sleepless in LA with Wack 100. Someone on the panel shared they wanted to see Usher vs. Chris Brown Verzuz battle.

Then Wack shared that Usher would wash Chris Brown.

“Usher would f*** Over Chris Brown,” said Wack 100.

“Chris Brown can’t f*** with Usher. Usher will f*** over Chris Brown.”

Chris Brown and an Usher Verzuz would be an exciting battle the late, great Michael Jackson has influenced the two. Both have at least 20 hits to compete in a Verzuz struggle. It would come down to the Verzuz battle in terms of the songs each other individual picks, and they have many to pick. For example, Usher has hit records such as, U got it Bad, Confessions Part II, U Remind Me, Yeah!, My Boo, Nice & Slow, Caught Up, Superstar, Climax, and U Don’t Have To Call to name a few. Meanwhile, Chris Brown’s hit records include but are not limited to AYo, Deuces, Look at Me Now, Loyal, No Guidance, With You, Say Good-Bye, New Flame, Take you Down, Yo, Run it, Kiss Kiss, Pills & Automobiles, Forever, and Gimme That.

In addition to those comments by Wack 100 shared earlier this week, he also shared earlier this year. Wack 100 stated that BET and Michael Jackson saved Chris Brown’s career following his incident with Rihanna in the late 2000s.

“If it wasn’t for the BET and the Michael Jackson tribute and Chris [Brown] doing the job that he did. He broke down and got emotional let him back in the door. Before that would not play Chris on the radio, they were pulling his s*** down. So it was over with for him before that. Remember, they could have used Usher [Raymond] instead,” said Wack.

Usher recently partnered with Little Kids Rock to implement a new music program through his Chattanooga-based Nancy Lackey Community Education Fund in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

“Sometimes coming from underserved communities, people need motivators, people need mentors,” said Usher. “I’ve had numerous conversations with teachers who’ve found that way to really connect with kids by way of understanding their music; by understanding what type of music and cultures these kids come from.”
