LeBron James been carryin犀利士 g the weight of an obese elephant on his back since making his NBA debut, October 29, 2003. Drafted No. 1 overall, The high school sensational phenom out of St. Vincent-St. Mary High School has been playing with a chip on his shoulders since day one! Or shall we call it weight? Hmm… Maybe even a little hate! Others would call it strong criticism, possibly even tough coaching. However, it’s nothing new to a King overcoming the unbelievable odds of a Black man!
I’ve been in countless NBA-topic virtual spaces, amongst hundreds, if not thousands of fans from Clubhouse, to Greenroom & even Twitter Spaces over the past couple of weeks. I must admit, not majority speaks in high volume; when speaking positively about King James. Many fans referencing his MVP Caliber-like season before undergoing a high ankle sprain caused on March 21st against the Atlanta Hawks, averaging 25ppg, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.8 assists. LeBron was expected to be out 4-6 weeks.
When speaking about LeBron James and overcoming adversity, many fans would call him the chosen one. Including Mama James, the King’s mother, who had the pleasure of stopping by the “Los Angeles Lakers Fan Club” on clubhouse back on May 28th. She never knew how large of an impact her son would make on fans, communities & families. Gloria said it was not until high school when LeBron expressed his interest to help low-income families, communities and speak up for social injustice! She has always told her son whatever he decides to do in life; “make sure you give it your all” “it never amazes me the things he can do”.
So how can a 4-time NBA Champion, owner of 14 Blaze Pizza franchises, a production company, founder of “The I Promise School” be hated so much? I’ve never been a fan of any form of hate personally. It’s completely unproductive, a waste of time, as well as energy.
Whether you’re a fan, a critic, or a professional, if your hating on this man, you should be disappointed in yourself and ask yourself, what am I doing in the world to help others while winning rings? I can honestly guarantee you it is only fueling the 4-time champ!! With all your horrible takes & zero voter hating syndrome going on. I can promise LeBron is comfortable and gearing up to win his 5th NBA title & 2nd with the Los Angeles Lakers.
Recently, NBA Scouts and Executives participated in an off-season survey “who is the best player in the NBA entering the 2021-2022 season” King James received a whopping zero votes. Unbelievable, right? I recently spoke to Johnie Franklin III, a beloved Laker fan, and we mutually agreed that James would have an explosive year like some of his most recent. Franklin III believes only his assistant will take a minor blemish; other than that, we should expect to see highs in his scoring & rebounding as well as a re-energized LeBron. Him receiving zero votes was intentional and delusional; he’s worth at least one vote. I got your vote, King!
