Ben Simmons is one of those special players in the league who can greatly impact the game despite being unable to score a ton of points consistently. He is an elite defender and creates a lot of opportunities for his teammates on the offensive end.

However, there is no doubt that he must add to his offensive play as far as his score is concerned. This would make him and the Sixers a much more dangerous opponent.

Simmons was back in the gym on Monday with coach Chris Johnson while working on his 3-point shot alongside Clippers guard Rajon Rondo. At this stage, he must continue to take the necessary repetitions to become more coherent on the spot, but he must also start taking those shots in the games.

It was recently reported by KRON 4 Jason Dumas that the situation between Simmons and Philly keeps getting worse, and Simmons would be open to a trade to one of the California teams.

The Sacramento Kings have some interest in Simmons but are not willing to offer De’Arron Fox in any trade packages as of now.
