P.M. Dawn’s K-R.O.K Responds To Nore Then Drops Diss Record

Last month, Noreaga, aka Nore, was a guest on the Breakfast Club, and during his appearance, he issued a challenge to Beanie Sigel for a possible Verzuz Battle. However, during the interview, Nore decided to take a shot at the legendary group P.M. Dawn.

After the episode appeared, P.M. Dawn member K-R.O.K caught wind of what was said and took to Instagram to respond with a message in his Instagram story.

Then recently, Beanie Sigel was a guest on Drink Champ, and during this episode, Nore dissed P.M. Dawn again and said, “Nobody knows who P.M. Dawn is.” Sigel responded with, “I don’t give a f***.”

After seeing this, the group definitely noticed and dropped a diss record aimed at Nore called ‘NORE Clap Back [Nore Diss]. ‘ Using Nore’s own beat from Banned from TV feat. Nature, Big Pun, Cam’ron, Jadakiss & Styles P.

On Monday evening I reached out to K-R.O.K of P.M. Dawn to get a response to Nore’s comments on The Breakfast Club and Drink Champs.

“Here is the thing we don’t understand why we are being mentioned. Everyone that is P.M. Dawn’s fans or are becoming fans at the end of the day we don’t look for trouble or start any trouble. We just mind our business and do our thing and when are ready to come out, then we are ready to come out. Unfortunately, in this situation, he [Nore] mentions us well over a month ago via The Breakfast Club in a phone interview with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee, and DJ Envy,” said K-R.O.K.

“When we heard it, which was a couple of days after it came out through fans and people sending us direct messages and Calls about it, we brushed it off, and said you know, he said what he said, and maybe is feeling himself. The thing that happens is hip hop people say something because it is the heat of the moment, and this is about Noreaga versus Beanie Sigel’s possible Verzuz battle, which I believe is going to happen away. So we left it alone, and the next thing you know, July 31st comes around. There was an interview with Beanie Sigel on Drink Champs. They are talking about doing the Verzuz battle and the history of Roc A Fella Records. Around the 2 hours and eight-minute mark to the 2 hours and ten-minute mark, and again, I am seeing this a couple of days later. The next thing you know, I’m looking at this, and Beanie Sigel expresses himself and says it is disrespectful that you are comparing me to P.M. Dawn. Luckily Beanie Sigel did not diss us, so he has respect from us. He is basically letting Nore know compare me to P.M. Dawn, and then Nore says we don’t know who P.M. Dawn is. How do you not know who we are, but you have mentioned us twice?”

He added, “He could have owned up to say that the reference was overbroad, and I was on that Tiger Bone or whatever else he is on. He is basically discrediting us and our contributions to the music industry and the culture. We are in the top 200 groups of all-time according to Billboard and the first hip hop & R&B group to ever chart number one consecutively weeks, to name a few things. I feel it is very disrespectful to be picking on us. We are just trying to keep it cool, but it’s like school where the bully keeps picking on a kid. Eventually, that kid is going to fight back, and you are going to get hurt. So, we had no choice but to respond. So, all we care about is Nore ‘Mr. What, What’ is put it on Wax. Let’s play hip hop; this is what it is. If you want to pick on us, speak your mind, but put it on Wax. Don’t sit there and drink Tiger Bone and talking about relax put it on Wax.”

Nore it’s your move!
