Kevin Durant Breaks Down His Efficiency And Still Getting Teammates Involved

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant had been very efficient throughout his NBA career. Some may think that he is the most efficient basketball player in NBA history. However, Kevin Durant was recently asked how he can still be very efficient and get his teammates involved.

“It is really about getting out of people’s way. I try to figure out how not to step on anyone’s toes out there. My game is like, how can I get my s*** off in the midst of all this chaos going on. Guys that can only drive to the rim, or guys who want to shoot, guys who need the ball in their hands. How can I still get my s*** off like fast-break lay-ups, backdoor cuts, catch and shoot. The quick offense is really how I can sustain that efficiency and knowing how to score,” said Durant.

“Knowing where the ball is going to come from on offense and s***. I just figured that out, and I try not to get in people’s way. But, I played with a lot of players that need the rock too. So, I have to figure out how I can get it, and they get there’s as well.”

Durant has played with a lot of great players throughout his 13 years in the leagues. Players include Russell Westbrook, James Harden, Kyrie Irving, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka, Andre Iguodala, Kendrick Perkins, Derrick Fisher, DeAndre Jordan, and the list goes on. These players have a different playing style, and Durant had to figure out how they could get their points, rebounds, assists and still pick his spots to score points.

Kevin Durant scored 14 points on Sunday night to help the Team USA Basketball rally and beat Spain 83-76.
